hay can someone help me out with some data i have

firstly could someone explain how for a whole bunch of data how to select specific cells and have excel calculate the mean for those scores

also from the calculates mean values how to create a graph and imput the different values

There are many ways to do this. One way is: in the cell you want to have the mean, write =AVERAGE(

Then, while holding down the control key, left click on the cells you want to include in the average calculation (if the cells are adjacent, you can click and hold to select all the cells at once). After that, press ) to enter a close bracket.

The cell will have the formulate =AVERAGE(xxxxxx) and show the average of the values in those cells.
