hey guys our class went on an excursion to penrith lakes a couple of weeks ago and now we have an assesment task about making a report... if any1 has gone ther or can help me i would really appreciate it... i am stuck on this point in the criteria that says "describes and explains short term changes in temperature and dissolved oxygen" i know that a small pond would be more sensitive to to temp. changes than a larger pond but i dont know about dissolved Oxygen???????

increasing temperature will always decrease the potential capacity of dissolved gas.... dissolved oxygen is a form of dissolved gas. hence increasing temperature decreases the potential capacity of dissolve oxygen
