For Extension Music, candidates may: submit an original composition, a suite of performances, or a musicological essay.
My question is: how are these compared? They are not marked by the same marking teams, and are quite different. How is the first in the course student determined? Is our raw mark simply our aligned mark? Are the relative differences in micro-candidatures for each aspect (Performance, Composition, Musicology) aligned to a common standard before being reported?
(This may not be a technical question, more a question about the method of the Board, but I thought I would post it for discussion.)
