thanks 4 your estimates ... i have a question bout my 2 extension subjects (maths and eng): will they definately get counted over a german score in band 4 or do they have to be above a certain mark to scale well?

depends really............ on what mark you get in all those subjects

you do maths and english ext2??

you need to do 4 subject types so 2 units will not be counted

no way!! maths and eng i do ext. 1 ... that keeps me busy enough!

I think it was a mis-interpretation.

Natstar thought u said you did 2 extension 2 subjects.

Technically, most extension subjects count over others depending on what type of marks you get. BOS simply picked the best 10 scaled marks.

if you look at tables at the end of the scaling report from last year (and figure out how to use them) you will be able to sort of compare a band 4 in eng and band whatever u expect to get in the other ext subjects
