Hi, my school (top 5) gave me an estimate of 95ish ATAR. Considering this, how well would I have to do in externals to boost it up to 97+ ?

Ranks were:
Eng Adv: 150/200
Maths 3U: 61/170
Maths 4U: 65/120
Physics: 77/110
Biology: 23/32

Sorry for the first comment coz I put my ranks for year 11 in this forum and my estimate that other users made was 89 to 91

It's obviously Sydney Boys.

You can improve heaps in externals, but you have to gun Phys, Bio and English.

You're probs looking at a 86-ish in English and a 84-85-ish in Phys and a 81-82-ish in Bio.

So to get a 97 ATAR, work on those 3 subs more so than Maths:

You'll need approximately:

- 88 English.
- 88 Physics.
- 85 Biology.
