alternative family relationships are essentially a moot point now, unless you're referring to those that generally do not have a direct presumption of any sort of parental responsibility or right to time with the child, such as aunts, cousins etc., which they don't fall under anyway.would same sex still be considered as alternative family relationship (in respect to the dot point in syllabus) now that same sex marriage is legalised???
