Does anyone know ...if say some1 was to go through this whole website and search for duplicates for threads etc and deleted them, and also threads from like 2002-2004/5 say (sort them and move the relevant data to more recent threads) - do you reckon that it would be a lot quicker to upload the site and/or go to other pages on the site?

I know its slow becuz heaps of ppl use the site...but i thought it might help if some of the older threads were deleted??

Any comments?...

I guess...if it is going to help...then we have to find a person who can be bothered to spend ages doing it...??

That'd help if it was the server running out of disk space? I'd guess this is just due to lack of bandwidth. Might be time to get a new pipe!

No matter what the site will be slow around HSC time, people want to talk about their exams, it happens every year. The admin have the site running as quicky as they can and as soon as the HSC is over it will be running fine.
