ive been having some problems with my comps hard drive and was wondering if i replaced it is there any way to automatically transfer everything over so i dont have to reinstall windows and its programs?

hmmm well depends on what type of problems you are having with the Hard drive......
Enlighten us?

If you can't accsess it, then it may be difficult to get the files off.

Even if you can, i believe you would have to reinstall the OS on the new Harddrive (you cant simply copy it across)

but yeah, what problems you having?

By any chance, do u get like that annoying blue screen at the start?

If u get another hard drive and hook it up to ur old one (one with problems) to it as ur second one , you should be able to access everything and u'll find that the first one sorta fixes the 2nd, but then eventually problems re appear.
(cousin tried to explain to me how it all works.... i zoned out :S )
Same thing happened to me, but then i got annoyed with taken my hard drive to cousins place all the time, so then i just bought a new one and used old one just for music.
