My favourite movies - I can't think of all of them right now. Ummm I liked Virgin Suicides, Amelie, Love Actually, Pride and Prejudice (a miniseries but it does count right?), Empire Records and lots of others. I probably prefer comedy over scary - especially those scary movies like Chucky and Freddie vs. Jason, kinda trashy imo.

the most recent non-commercially-hyped movie that i really liked was the Butterfly effect...it really raised some serious issues about whether changing the past in hope of making today better is possible...

my favourite movies are always old movies, 1940 kinda old.
fav movies of all time however would be:
- The Philadelphia Story
- Bringing Up Baby
- Wonder Boys
- Barefoot In The Park
- Dead Again
- Romancing The Stone
and any movie directed by alfred hitchcock
and just about any scary movie of the mindf*ck variety, eg Copycat, Fallen
also have a particular liking for movies that appeal to my twisted sense of humour, such as Lucky Numbers, Grosse Pointe Blank, From Dusk Til Dawn
