Hey Everyone

I was just revising over the federal models and I was wandering would anyone be able to explain to me the difference between bottom up constitutional models and the top down constitutional models

hmmm, not sure abt the terminology, but methinks top-down is where the a federal government has unlimited legislative powers and the states have limited stipulated powers, whereas bottom up is like our system, where the state governments have unlimited legislative powers and the federal has limited stipulated powers.

but that's just an educated guess. :D

Top down - Federal has more power than States.
Bottom up - State has more power than Federal.
