UTS is the best and practically the only Uni film production course out there. Also consider AFTRS (www.aftrs.edu.au) which is the best school in the country hands down, but is post-grad. Otherwise, look at private courses around too. If you get into UTS, go there. Ultimately, working in film and TV is not about where you went but what you know, who you know and who knows you. There are thousands of people working in film and TV in Australia with little or no formal qualifications. Many people have also recieved an education in a different area (eg. B. Arts) before finding work/further education in film. etc. etc

Hope that helps

Yeah, definitely UTS' Media Arts & Production degree is the best one out there for undergrads in NSW. I'm really interested in scriptwriting, film-making and producing, editing etc as well and I haven't found any other course that offers what UTS does.

true but its not easy to get into it. an alternative might be visual arts at sydney uni in film and digital art. they select students on an interview/portfolio basis.
