my HSC subjects are Boilogy, Chemistry, Physics, English standard, IPT and maths. My rankings in the science courses are in the top 5 and my trail results were:
Boilogy 83/100 (3rd)
Chemistry 74/100 (5th)
Physics 59/100 (3rd)
English 50/100
Maths not given yet
IPT not given yet

despite this i did bad in the 1st semester in the science courses. i can guess my overall average for each of the courses is less than 75.
my question is if i score ~95-100% in each of the courses, would my school based assessment rise? would i still be able to get a band 5/6 in each of the courses?

its based on your rankings ... so just hope the ppl that beat you will do well and you do better than them ... and also those ppl that beat you did they beat you by a lot?
just say that the 3rd highest exam mark for physics is in the mid - high band 5 and you got a high band 6 above 95 in the hsc then you probably will get a mid band 6

the difference between the highest mark in my school and me, 3rd/ were:
Biology 1st= 88/100
2nd= 86/100
Chemistry 1st= 89/100
2nd=80/100 ( 2 people got this )
3rd=76/100
Physics 1st =62/100
2nd=60/100
In english i am not sure what were the top results.
