In this film malrin learns off the journey he undertakes. The composer does this by showing marlin as an overprotective father " Nemo you cant do these things you just cant" who is not willing to "let anything happen to him". As the film progresses marilin learns to let trust Nemo when he says "i can do this", the composer shows that in all journeys there is something to be learnt.
