For those of you who have used fluxbox, you will notice that you can simply drag windows across desktops and use mouse wheel to change desktops.

This is incredibly handy, but I can seem to find a windows plug-in which can do this. anyone know of such a thing?

simply having multiple desktops is useless if you can't move windows to different desktops efficiently.

btw, fluxbox is a lightweight window manager for *nix

You could constantly be downloading an X-Session from banshee and have your window manager as fluxbox. But that rapes bandwidth.

You can't make one perhaps? The source of Fluxbox is readily available at www.fluxbox.org so you could look at how it's done for "nix and port it to Windows in a language such as C/C++ or even Java (or any language to be precise). If you're going to look at the source, download the stable version, as that has what you need with less bollocks as the development version has.

However, I don't know of any programs that can do that under Windows. I just use Fluxbox under Linux.

Good luck. :)
