why cant i see like [1,2,3,4... Last page] when i am on main page searching all posts in Non-School eg, Forum problem [1]

not on search.. on like USER CP and main posts and everything.. one day it was fine now it wasnt so now i have to click on POST then go last page instead of just clicking last page

click on Quick Links -> Edit Options -> Under "Thread Display Mode" is it "Linear -Oldest First" selected......if not select that.
