hiiiiiiiii iv just been really fascinated with DIY things like making your own clothes by customising and reconstructing old things into new and i was just wondering if anyone knows where i can get like old clothes for free somewhere?? cos i know like you can get stuff from op shops and salvos and all but like all the faulty clothes in stores and stuff they throw away after a season...like do they end up in dumps?? or massive sales?? or what like i just want to revamp clothes and was wondering if anyone knows where i can get them from or like if people wana dump them somewhere so i can get a hold of them hehe or if you know of any dumps?? i may become a potential designer one day :) :) :)

If you want to be really evil you can drop by a vinnies or salvos before/after opening hours and have a look through the stuff people dump there.

No, I don't know of any "free clothes" places. They can get very very cheap, but they're never free.

Come on... $2 or so isn't going to break your bank :( save the free clothes for the people who really need them, eg the homeless...

Why don't you just scrounge around in the bins that people use to chuck clothes in for the homeless?

They'd be free

I don't think there is anywhere that you can get free clothes....

Vinnies often has like $5.00 bags where its all the clothes you can fit into a bag for $5.00 etc.

I would feel terrible taking free clothes which were intended for the homeless.

Yeah I don't know about taking clothes that could be given to the homeless...

Maybe you have some relatives or family friends that have some old/unwanted clothing they'd like to donate to your 'cause' :p
