Get a copy of the film "Network" if you can.

go for things in aussie politics such as the children overboard scandal, GG scandal etc

Also Mike Moore things are good eg Bowling for Columbine, Stupid White Men

* "gossip" - that film with james marsden in it (sorry forgotten the director)
* "brilliant lies" - a play by david williamson. actually alotta his plays are good for this module cos he writes alotta satirical stuff

maybe the play got adapted into a film or something

trust me, i think i know what i'm talking about.. i did it for my HSC last year ;)

So, just so I get this right - The additional material for this module is exactly the same as additional material for all other modules?
I mean, we can use all different textual forms and by the sounds of it articles and issues are recommended. i.e. the children overboard fiasco that occurred recently?

yes, you *have* to use different textual forms- if you read that damned syllabus thing, i think it says exactly that they want different textual forms..

and yeah, newspaper/magazine article would be good. plus you need one or two others. maybe a film u like? a play? novel? poem? blah there are many.

It's a fantastic doco I reckon.... I watched it last week and it was really interesting.
