Gearing : Does it have to be in a percentage or can we leave it as a ratio? (1 Viewer)

Usually when people say gearing they use % as it also makes it easier to analyse/compare. A ratio can be inferred from it.

Update got feedback from an HSC marker its better to leave as a percentage.

I always used % form as it was easier to analyse, especially if the industry standard statistic was given in % form.
