Soo true, I have even more respect for the things those people in the exemplar responces managed to come up with in 40 minutes. I found myself most of the time just writing like a nutter the first thing that came to my head in order to just keep within that time limit.sideshowtim said:I think it's really hard to compose a well structured essay when you have such little time to do in it. You have no time to think really you've just gotta be writing for 40 minutes.
LOL agree with all that. CLOUDSTREET question is so unfair. all the other questions in that section asked about the main characters except cloudstreet which asked about quick. wat was with that. so lame. i just ranted on about how he did not contribute in anyway to my reading. oh well no more english so u still have to be happy^CoSMic DoRiS^^ said:I thought that the Comparative Study Module question (I do Hamlet/RAGAD) was pretty cool. At first I was a bit like 'heh' but once i read it again i realised it was actually quite a good question with a lot to be able to write about. So v happy with that.
The Critical Study question (I do Cloudstreet)... we don't talk about that. I've had my rant in the appropriate forum. But fuck it was annoying.
So overall I was pretty happy with this exam. Although when i find out who wanted us to write about Quick Lamb... *sharpens knife* lol.

But it was kind of all down hill once I started writing.
I mainly memorised and I had no problem at all adaptating. Just lost a couple of sentences in my KL essays which was a good thing anyway because otherwise I would not have finished my module C essay.Ioup said:I'm glad I don't memorise essays.
I would've been screwed if I did...
I think the 2006 paper was the Board of Studies reaction to weed out those memorisers....
