hey, is anyone out there doing a major in geology? just wondering what it's like (interesting/difficult) and what other majors might go with it in B science.

I'm not majoring, but I'm doing quite a few geoscience courses.

Short answer: it dependson what you do. Largely, the courses are interesting (if you're interested), in depth, hard because they're not structured real well, and the lecturers are somewhat.. hard to understand.

That sounds ok. Do you know if the USyd Geology has much on mining, natural resource (sedimentology) or remote sensing? I can't find the actual course structure of this major so it's hard to know what i'd be doing.
