<i>"In the movie we get to follow Mpete, Hot Tub and Roar. They are the new Norwegian boyband sensation. Every little girl and boy (almost) adore them and their music. Behind it all there is an awful truth. The band can't actually sing! What's even worse is that they sing in English and the lead singer (Mpete) barely speaks English. Their voices gets mixed in the studio, so it just sounds like they can sing. How do they do this on concerts? Easy, they just sing in playback.
One day they host a concert for a good cause. But accidently their playback cd gets a nasty scratch. When they are up on the stage miming as maniacs, the singing starts to repeat itself. The audience can't believe what they hear, either can the members of the group. That's when the downhill begins."</i>
During the movie there are several hilarious video clips like 'We Are The Playmomen' and 'Twelve Year Old Woman', which is about one of the guy's girlfriends who said they were 16 but turned out to be only 12 years old.
Everyone's favourite must be 'Cousin' which goes like this:
<i>'Hey, there, beautiful girl
You oughta know you rock my world
With your eyes
And those perfect thighs
You make me feel so happy everytime you smile
You make me wanna scream and shout
I'd really like to ask you out, but...
You're my cousin (cousin - yeah, yeah, yeah)
Second daughter of my father's sister Anne-Marit
You're my cousin (cousin - yeah, yeah, yeah)
We could never be a couple even if we want
Sweet, cousin! (cousin - yeah, yeah, yeah)
Hey, hey, hey
Just because we have similar DNA'</i>
Fucking hilarious. 8/10. Every one must see it.
