Getting an undergrad scholarship (1 Viewer)

Well yeh wat kind of UAI would u need for a $2k commerce scholarship. I applied for 2 of them because i was too lazy to go for the big ones and didn't really think i had a chance. Would around 99 be okay?

depends wat the scholarship is for. If it is a children of alumni one then you would definitely need at a minimum 99, but some of them are more focussed on whether or not you've spent a year building houses in africa and curing the world of malaria so you could prob have even lower than 99 (particularly if you are financially disadvantaged there is greater leniency for uai).
others just care if you can hit a cricket ball...

i know someone that got a good co-op scholarship with 98... but yea, extra curricular activities count for a lot with these things... as do interview skills.

i.e. they dont want nerds

oh ok...and also, how long wud it take for them to send the scholarship notices after the UAI's are released?

depends, i got notified at the beginning of january BUT for another i applied for they didnt even get around to interviews until O-week.
