ummmmm....i reformatted it using windows instead of the software.......... what do i do so WMP can recognise it again....and get the software back on the gigabeat. the software on the computer doesnt recognise it either....

go to the manufacturers website and attempt a Firmware update.
If your computer doesn't detect it, then you'll need the drivers (allso from the manufacturers website)
