Going to Japan? (1 Viewer)

I was thinking of applying for an AFS short trip to Japan for 6 weeks in December - January.
Right now I'm in year 11 so by then it would be during the holidays after my first term of year 12 (term 4).
Just wondering, should I go on this trip or would it be too much trouble and take time away from my studies?
I'm currently studying Japanese Beginners so I'm hoping this course would help me improve for the HSC.

Do it. I went on a 2 week program with them when I was in year 11 during the summer break. My teacher said that my speaking and listening have improved because of this. It wouldn't hurt, and it'll help you so much for your Jap Beginners.
