Hey I need to do an assignment on a tragic hero from a movie. Anyone know any good movies i can use? :uhhuh:

Why not try any of the chinese ones? Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Hero, House of Flying Daggers? All the heroes die... if that's not tragic, I don't know what is :S

I know this sounds hokey...but what about Matrix Revolution?

thank you for suggesting some movies for me to try....but im looking for a movie with a main character that falls due to some sort of flaw in his/her personality...and then,,,the audience feels for them at their tragic end

Hmm...the "Fallen" starring Denzel Washington *might* be useful. Denzel plays a cop who is haunted by the soul of a man who he brought to justice. The criminal soul jumps from body to body and eventually the cop must sacrafice himself to kill it, but he fails in the end.

I haven't watched that before but I was thinking about Minority Report..Is that a tragic hero?
