Could anyone help us out with determining all the government departments that have positions for Accountants/Finance guys?
Preferably in Sydney or within about 1-2 hours of Sydney (basically Canberra distance)

Also anyone know what its like to work in government departments such as the ATO, DOD, RAAF, etc?

I'm inclined to think every government department (incl. the army, government offices, departments, even local councils) would need both accountants/finance, as well as external auditors.
