when they ask for your tertiary grade point average for post graduate positions
are they refering to ure average for ure last year? or the grade point average for every year in every subject?

i think they are referring to your weighted average over intermediate and senior subjects (Ie 2nd and 3rd year). So they add up your scaled marks x credit point value then divide that by the sum of the credit point values
