During highschool I did a robotics course @ Griffith, I think it was in Mt Gravatt campus. It seemed ok - too much concrete though. There didn't seem to be so many international/Asian students compared with QUT and UQ, even though it's in a fairly diverse neighborhood. They seemed to have plenty of resources for robotics and electrical engineering - buckets full of resistors, capacitors, etc. Probably the place to go for something like that.
The new MBBS degree @ Griffith is also good. Many people don't realise that Griffith does medicine now.
