Grrr...a decision! (1 Viewer)

hi all

I am studying the BInfTech at CSU this year and so far so good (with my summer subjects).

Some lady rang me up from Monash uni the other day wanting to know if I would transfer to them 2nd semester, also doing their BInfTech degree via distance. The Monash one requires the equivalent of NSW General maths which i did in my HSC, but some of their 1st year subjects look pretty damn hardcore...would people think some of the 1st year CSU subjects are not as technical as other unis??

Since I don't have to move to either Uni, I am in a dilemma.

Now I know what CSU is like, i am a little relucatant to take a big step into another Uni without a damn good reason. A few of my mates preach about how much more 'respect' their uni gets, and that people would pass my CSU degree off as second rate.

Its hard for others to advise what me what to do, but your comments would be appreciated...particularly if any of you come from victoria...

Then do whatever you would like to do.

If you think employers would look at your uni then go for Monash. If you think they will look at your grades go for CSU.

AND if you think they will look for someone who is capable, then, no matter what uni you are in. You are going to do well.

Thanks guys it has made it a lot easier.

Im enjoying DE so far and the CSU teachers are the best. Not to mention the DE community...I happy to stay put for the time being!
