hey guys, im doing some research in preparation for my trials come the end of term.

I was wondering could anyone tell me the themes present in the 'play in play' scene and clown gravediggers scene?

I currently have an idea of one for each; that of the revenge tragedy and mystery of death, however i would like to have at least two for each.

If anyone could please suggest some, that would be fantastic!

cheers guys.

The p-i-p is a reflection upon the play itself, i.e. metatheatre. It reveals the guilt of Claudius. It is an attempt by Hamlet to reveal the truth.

The gravediggers, as you have stated, examine death. That from the noblest to the lowest of people, we all share the same fate.
