well after my 1/2 yearlys im starting 2 feel that my goal of a UAI of 80 is starting 2 become out of reach of me since that my scores havnt been the best, im wondering wat can i do? i try hard but stupid mistakes keeping going into the picture, currently these r the precentage of my results of my assessments including my 1/2 yrlys my results:

Physics: 53%
Standard English: 47%(havnt got 1/2 yrly back)
Software: 89%
2U Maths: 75%
Legal Studies: 70%

So ya wat can i do?

sorry to tell u man, but no miracle is going to happen, you have to study harder and not the week before

i didnt study the week before., i studied 3 weeks b4 it, (ive included assessments 4 those percentages)

like im ranked 1st in software, ranked 6th in maths n ill find out the rest tomorrow

It's ranks that count and those ranks sound good.

Are you studying effecitvely? Effective study is efficient, encompassing and enjoyable; not just textbook-diving. Did you try past-papers?

well currently i got a ranking of 14 in legal studies, n about 5 in physics. i still havnt got english yet n ho i didnt u past papers expect 4 maths

Try not to get too down on yourself! There IS STILL TIME to pick up!

Just keep working hard and doing past papers, speaking with your teachers and doing regular study and revision!

Whatever your method is for learning, try to do it constantly and efficiently for the rest of the year!

Motivation, being positive and making goals is the key; try not to be mean to yourself, instead turn your mistakes into positive things; like a goal...for example "I'm going to work harder and do even better in my trials", or something like that.

Don't give up! Keep trying and good luck! :uhhuh:

well uve still got time...when i first started year 12 (end of year 11..) i was gettin 60s n 70s.....and i just got the marks from my half yearlies back... and putting marks into SAM, my estimated UAI has gone up HEAPS! i walked out of LOTS of exams feeling like shit.....but now ive gotten them back..they were better then what i thought they would be...so, just go crazy and memorise like all hell....! u'll get there!

Does it really matter that much if you get above or below the average, in terms of uai? Everyone makes a bigger deal of ranks than they do of marks...
