I realised when I was sleepy I was making more mistakes when I did some Integration problems. When I realised it was wrong, I looked back to find silly mistakes... I have an exam on Wednesday next week. What steps should I take the day before the exam on Wednesday.
I actually had an Ext 1 Maths 'class' test (doesn't count much at all but still, it's a test) and it was on Real Numbers + Surds & Indices, Algebra, Quadratic Inequalities, Absolute Values and Simultaneous Equations, etc. on this Wednesday...
I scored 100% (39/39) and came 1st in my class (one of the lower classes) with only 4-5 hours of sleep... I did slight revision on the bus on the way to school....
Though, I drank like a can of Mother in the morning and in the test, I was extra cautious. (Subbed my answers back into the equation if I was able to, for double checking, and kept on checking every step in my working out once I had finished)
It won't affect you too much if you're a top student (since you are doing Integration at this level then I'd say you are definitely are a top student) but try to get as much sleep as possible if the test weighs a lot...
I remember doing some Sequences and Series questions, being sleepy and all, and I found myself using the wrong formulaes at times so yeah.... Being sleepy kills you....
I've been sleep deprived since I entered Year 11 ):
