I do graphics though the ideas behind them are the same so I will roughly write what I think.

(a) It will affect the role with-
- decision making as it will be joint decisions
- responsibilities will be shared
- question with whos in charge of what
(b) Production efficiency -
- They will have two different skill sets so there will not be need for as much outsourcing
- The time delay should be shorter
- will have a larger physical workforce so therefore more productive and effiecient
- there may be a slight decrease with workplace cohession issues
- would be slight decrease whilst staff undergo retrianing
- also be slight decrease due to leadership and direction changes
(c) Need retraining-
- new procedures as they are combined
- retraining in new machines
- retraining in upgraded technology
- retraining in the new developed and modified OHS procedures
- retrianing to get out of specific skill sets to merge better and understand the other section of the business

(d) Personnel Issues-
- staff may become redundant as they will duplicate areas which they dont need eg. administration
- need to ensure a workplace culture cohession of the two groups to make sure they get along
- workplace communication
- opportunities to employ more staff and more jobs
- they can multi skill

(e) Relocate Issues- transportation of goods and services and workers
- floor plan has sections and rooms appropriate for business to work successfully
- Access to new employees who have the correct skill set
- distance from their intended market
- initial costs and downtime associated with the move
- council regulations of new area
- any new costs to work in the new area
- marketing strategy and loss of staff
