Hi there :]

I have a food technology assessment coming up when holidays end. I need some help and by saying that, I need some questions that needs to be answered. So if you don't mind, please help me.

Question 1.
Why do we need food service & catering ventures?
- Economic contribution​
- Social contribution​

Question 2.
What discrimination is not allowed in the Hospitality industry?

Question 3.
What general rules are there for the plating and service of foods?

Hey! From memory, I have a few brief answers:
I'll skip the first question.lol

q2. Anti-discrimination laws: age, culture, gender, religion, sexual preference

q3.
-Contrast colours i.e make sure the food contrasts with the table decorations, plate etc.
-Use appropriate garnishes for savoury dishes and decorations for sweet dishes
-Always leave the brim of the plate free from food
-Do not overload the plate
-Keep the plate and cutlery spotlessly clean
(Can't think of anymore)
