Helllo everyone. Im looking for a file to delete and my search said it was in the Recent Items folder. I located the folder but it will not open?

OS System is Vista home.

The Recent Item properties were:
Type Folder
size 395 kb
size on disc 2.31 mb
contains 638 files 0 folders
created Jan . 05 - 08
attributes read only
When I right click for the menu it has" clear recent items list" when I click on it it does not clear the folder?

Any and all info would be greatly apprciated as I have no idea what to do with it.

Thank you

Um its only 395k. if your reduced to clearing this for space then you have some serious hard drive issues. Buy an external. You can get terabytes for just over $100, or a new internal terabyte for about the same.

I got rid of recent items. I dunno if i deleted or just hid it. (Right click on start button -> properties -> Start Menu -> in the privacy area uncheck "Store and Display a list of recently opened files")

If your writing a program to delete a file your better off using a root directory (C:\) or your desktop/documents.
