Hey people,
I need some help/advice/guidance about what to study this year. I received an offer to study Chiropractic science on wednesday as was my first preference. I've always wanted to deal with sport injuries and rehabilitation and although Chiro provides this i'd still like to deal with them a bit more. So i thought I could combine sport injuries/rehab and chiro by study Exercise and sport science at sydney then completing a masters of chiro ( combined study time of 5 years). I made the Exercise and sport science cut off of 87.20 by 0.20
So i have a few questions i need help with!
1) Is it to late to change preferences and receive an offer for exercise and sport science?
2) If i apply for late round offers is the UAI likely to increase?
3) completion of Exercise and sport science allows you postgraduate entry into Physio, medicine and denistry, would this allow for entry into the Master of Chiro?
4) I have not studied HSC Science and Exercise and sport science covers many of these sciences will this place me at a distinct disadavantage(I read on here it was'nt so bad) I.e so much so that i will not be able to handle the work, I'm a quick learner but is it that advanced i would'nt be able to cope?
5) Is Ex and sport sci an enjoyable course?
I'd like to know what you all think i should do? Go and take the Chiro offer and do that or try and change do Ex Sci and then enter postgraduate chiro. The thought of having a dual degree is tantilising allowing me to do Chiro, rehab and sports injuries with 5 years worth of study. Don't get me wrong I'd take my chiro offer in a heartbeat i'm just excited by the idea of have a dual degree within 5 years. So what should i do and who should i contact for further help/advice because im kinda confused!
Thanks for any help
