How far back into the family should I go? I think to include Livia, her mother etc, however my teacher says just from Gaius onwards? Anyone got some help for me please?

You'll need to look at the period before Gaius rules, as Agrippina is married to Ahenobarbus during the reign of Tiberius.

well if you're asked to talk about agrippina's family background
then you write about how she was born into a prominent position, mention her grandparents and who they were, and what family they were, mention how she was a julio-claudian, mention who she was married to under each emperor of the julio-claudian period
