Hello guys
Could anyone of you guys help me with this problem on the unit circle. If given a unit circle how do you sin, cos, tan and cot an given angle on the unit circle. Eg: given tan34 and asked for cot. Could you guys show explain it to me and show me on a diagram.

Thanks

For that question, know that cot = cotangent.

Cotangent meaning complement of tangent.

So then tan34 can be rewritten as cot(90-34) = cot56.

I really don't get all this fuss over the unit circle...

Either do I. Why would you even you use the unit circle if you had a value for tan34. Why not just use cotx=1/tanx in your calculator?
