AH: 58

I don't understand how my star is 35 :(

I don't think that should be 35 ATAR. It should be around 40-45.

I was always told that the HSC exams are marked from 50-100, instead of from 1 to 100. Therefore, if your HSC exam mark is, say, 60, you may not have done too well in that exam. If you wanted an ATAR of around 70, you need to be scoring above that in your average mark, because it all kinda scales down. It's hard to explain - my teacher used to use a white board and diagrams.
But don't worry too much about it. ATAR calulators vary quite a bit - I've had them vary by around 10 points.

atar isn't released yet

but yeah calculators, just expect something within the range of a few points (the gap of points lessens the higher the estimate is)
