HELP ->> Programming for PALM OS (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone,
For my major project ive been looking to make my program for a palm pilot as it needs to be easily transported. I have Visual Basic experience and would prefer to use that rather than a Palm OS programming tool. If anyone knows if i can get a VB file to work on a palm PLEASE HELP.
If not are there any programming languages that are easy and quick to learn, preferably with a GUI for palm?

I think you're basically stuck with C/C++ or Java. I presume you'll looked at http://www.palmone.com/us/developers/. Maybe buying a book (http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/palmprog2/) would help?

In terms of VB, only PocketPC/Windows Mobile supports Embedded Visual Basic, but it should be obvious why (hint: Microsoft). In fact, between eVB and the .Net Compact Framework, you'd have a much easier time developing for Windows Mobile than PalmOS, I suspect.
