Hey...i currently have a related text assignment for powerplay where i have to find an article from the recent media, i got a newspaper article. Part 1 was to discuss powerplay in the article, which i've done. Part 2 is to write a feature article printed around the same time as the article discussing how the article relates to 1984.

How am i meant to write the feature article without it sounding the same as the newspaper article. Its hard to relate an article to a novel in the form of another article without it sounding the same as the article, so i was just wondering if anyone has any tips on how to overcome this because i dont want it to look like i just rewrote the article in different words and added a bit of 1984 here and there...
thanx

c ur problem dude. ok, well, i reckon it shouldnt be too hard - go look up stuff on the definition of a feature article and a newspaper article. havent done them in ages so i wont say much in case its not entirely correct. that said, i can tell that there is a big difference between the two - not just in the actual content, but more in the way u present it - um, short paragraphs, catchy heading and first line, graphics etc. so hopefully they wont end up being 2 the same :)
