Hi all
I need some help...
My Extension 2 class has finished the proofs topic, but I'm still struggling with inequality proofs (2.3 in the fitzpatrick textbook)
The issue isn't my understanding of proofs within itself. I find it so difficult to actually see the niche trick you have to employ in order to get anything that looks like what you are meant to have. I feel like they give you general statements that seem easy to work with, yet every other time I simply cannot see the direction the question wants to take me.
I don't know if any of you can provide any advice. Maybe it's just a practice thing? It's just frustrating me how I can't do it. How do I expand my problem solving ability?
