Can someone please be kind enough to draw the method diagram for setting up a Maltese Cross?

I don't have the faintest clue about the connections with the wires that should be made with Induction coil!

The - part of the induction coil is attached to the cathode(-) electrode of the Maltese cross and conversely for the + and anode.

Your best bet is to hook up the induction coil and test for induction by observing the crackling light. Ideally, your teacher should be doing this as X-rays can and will be emitted if using the Maltese cross.

Just remember the Maltese cross is designed to show that the cathode rays are streams of - charged particles as observed by the shadow effect.

C
