I got this assignment and I need answers to these questions

1. Which Australian native trees are used to make woodchips and what are the names of some plantation trees used for woodchipping in Australia?

2. Which tree was used by early sailors to build their 'tall ship' masts and how did they get this timber.

If anyone could help me with these I'd really appreciate it.

1. Eucalyptus globulus globulus. (Tasmanian Blue Gum)

plantation trees = hoop pine, radiata pine etc

2. Agathis australis (Kauri tree - native to NZ)
they chopped it down?
