Ok, i think my mobo just died, my psu is still working, theres a light on the mobo although dim, the fans work, the harddrives and memory have been tested on another system.

Now is there anyway of resurrecting it ? i bought it overseas so warranty goes bye bye, its a Asus A7n8x-x btw


And onto the next question, whats a decent/cheap one that is reliable, i dont have enough dosh for a top end, let alone a middle range to tell you the truth.

the problem could be anything....

does your computer beep when you turn it on?
could be video card
could be dead sound card stopping it from powering....

dont have the dosh for a new one atm, but ill just get the parts replaced with working ones, oh well
