I did my HSC last year and got ok marks but a SHIT UAI (46.9)

so this year im repeating my HSC at TAFE...

Last year i got 72 in english and modern History.. im keeping those units and accumulating legal studies, SAC and ancient history (again)..

what marks would i need to get my UAI around 85-90???

maybe its a bit different at tafe.....but at school i see everyone else working their butts off so i try to as well

The more you say you lack motivation, the more you waste time procrastinating about the lack of motivation, the more you keep thinking that way, the more it will come true. Just get your head down, pens up and do something. Start small (as in study 30mins per day) and build up from there...

And NO, noone can motivate each other... the only person that can truly motivate you is yourself.

I took the bomb of doing ym hsc first tiem round im not going to stuff up second time round..
NO WAY..

i just like ti when ppl around me are working
maybe regular trips to te library are the way to go??

NOOOO!!!! Library's are very distracting (newspapers, magazines, chix)... just unplug all your electronix and work at home!

no way

library is the single best place to study - try to go to the State Library in the city. I'd use to get so distracted at home, but I forced myself to the library for 10 hours a day during the HSC

actually my home study environemtn is very distracting.. the library is the best for me.. im pretty sure about that...

where else at the library its a very different thing.. i feel the need to work there cos everyone else is working..
i should get into a habit..

library for me

I've found I can't work for more than an hour at home per day before I get distracted, going to the library really gives me the structure I need to get work done. I find working for an hour then having a 10 minute break then another hour works well.

complaining about being lazy aint gonna do anything except make you more lazy

anyway good luck
