Hidden Vs Hard Core Unemployment ? (1 Viewer)

I know that hidden is not included in the actual abs unemployment stats but how is it different from hard core which is a part of long term (12months) - do the both still share characteristics such as lack of motivation 'giving up' , but I guess hidden to a greater extent where there are no JobSearchAllowance?

Please correct me if I'm wrong !

One thing you should understand is, hardcore unemployment is basically unemployed individuals whom are mentally and physically incapable of holding a job. They are still looking for jobs, however due to their physical or mental characteristic, they are unemployed.

Hidden unemployment are basically the unemployed individuals who want a job but aren't actively seeking for a job, mainly due to rough and unfavourable economic conditions.

And yes, both can lead to long-term unemployment.
