High Performance FPS With campaigns (1 Viewer)

Whats your favourite/best First person shooter (FPS) game (must have campaigns where you complete missions) at the moment?

im not sure if "performance" is the right word youre looking for.
high performance = high fps = wolfenstein 3d?

"graphically intensive" maybe?

anyway, i quite like the Call of Duty series, while Medal of Honour has a few good ones. right now im waiting on the new Brothers in Arms game and Crysis.

Half Life 2, Far Cry, S.T.A.L.K.E.R, Doom III, F.E.A.R, Quake IV & Prey.

I'm looking forward to Crysis and Bioshock.

My two favorites of recent times have been Quake 4 and Half Life 2

I played Deus Ex 1 and 2 in the holidays for the hell of it. Very entertaining.

Whenever I play D2, all I do is turn on god mode and teleport to the final level.

Half-Life 2 = best shooter ever. Possibly best game ever as well.
Prey is also a good shooter, I'm just about to finish it.

besides the graphics and storyline/characters i dont think half life 2 is really that great. im not saying it wasnt an awesome game but it was extremely short, the guns having 'cone of fire' rather than recoil made the gunfights very annoying and the gameplay was very linear.

its nice that valve are commited to their games and im sure alot of developers could learn a thing or two about optimisation from them, but i didnt find half life 2 that great
