These all pop-up whenever I log in to my profile (or to anyone elses profile for that matter)

Will removing them rectify that situation?

Thanks

The Symantec ones pop up though because we no longer use that as our firewall and it thinks it does and its complaining that it can't find the files ie. there is a registry problem of some sort and when we uninstalled it, the registry file wasn't updated to tell it that it doesn't have to start up anymore.

So will fixing those fix the pop-ups?

Yes. You may also want to tick the following (general cleanup):

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://riviera.cc (obfuscated)
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://login.passport.net/uilogin.srf?lc=3081&id=2
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://riviera.cc (obfuscated)

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://riviera.cc (obfuscated)

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Connection Wizard,ShellNext = http://www.thebasement.com.au/
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [RemoveElanIcon] C:\WINDOWS\system32\ELAN.exe
O10 - Unknown file in Winsock LSP: c:\program files\aventail\connect\asdns.dll

Tick them, close any folder/browser windows, fix checked, and reboot.

Then post a new log :)
