Hi,

For my major work, I decided to use this as my inquiry question: Hiroshima and Nagasaki: what were the true intentions?
But I don't know where and how to start. I've decided to separated the essay into 3 parts:
1. Situation of Japan in 1944-45
2. Views of Truman's advisers
3. Intentions for the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki

What does everybody think of my plan?

You said your going to separate your essay into 3 parts, one of which is providing context on the atomic bombs. That's fine just don't let that be one third of your essay, keep that to a short paragraph after your introduction.

hi, i did the bombing of hiroshima and nagasaki last year for mod. my question was whether the usa were justified in bombing the 2 cities. I pretty much looked at other causes that might have led to the bombing of the 2 cities for e.g. racial hatred towards the jap and how the jap were at the verge of collpase and the bombing wasn't necessary.
